Art, comics, graphic design and web development by the artist: Matthew Taylor

This was a lovely pose, the extreem foreshortening makes it quite interesting. Normally it's difficult to capture this view point in a natural way but I feel that this drawing worked easily for some reason. I really like the patterns of light and shadow as they wander across the curves of her body!

'The portrait is one of the most curious art forms. It demands special qualities in the artist, and an almost total kinship with the model.' - Henri Matisse
