Art, comics, graphic design and web development by the artist: Matthew Taylor

It took me about 3 months to build the Strathfield Car Radios website. It was programmed in classic ASP with an SQL 2000 database backend and I also built a secure admin system where many of the Strathfield employees would login to manage the site content. Once it was built there was almost no ongoing maintenance, I only had to run a daily procedure to update product prices and occasionally add new products to the system.
I loved this website, it was my baby and I was really proud of it. Shortly after I left Strathfield the new website manager changed the design without any thought to search engine optimisation, as a result, all my hard work was wasted because the new pages were not being found in Google. The website did however still use the admin system that I built.
